What We Believe about God
We believe in the one and only true God who is the creator and ruler of the universe. We believe God is omnipresent, sovereign, omniscient , omnipotent and immutable. God has existed eternally as The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. One God 3 co-equal persons without division or essence. God is love.
What We Believe about Jesus
We believe that Jesus is God relative to His Deity and the Son of God relative to the Trinity. Co-equal with The Father and The Holy Spirit. We believe He descended from Heaven offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men to reconcile us back to God. He arose
from the dead after 3 days and ascended back to Heaven 40 days later. We Believe salvation is only found in the Lord Jesus Christ.
What We Believe about Holy Spirit
We believe The Holy Spirit is God relative to The Trinity. Co-equal with The Father and The Son. We believe He indwells the believer at the moment of salvation and is our Comforter and Revelator of Truth. He is present in this world to convict people of sin. We believe The Holy
Spirit distributes gifts according to His own sovereignty and we as a church embrace the expression and exercise of these Gifts according to the word of God.
What We Believe about Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift from God saving man from sin and its penalty. Man was created in the image of God and to be in fellowship with Him. However, man voluntarily sinned against God which separated us from Him. We believe Jesus died for us and as us and His voluntary sacrifice fulfilled the penalty of sin. We believe Salvation is available to everyone but can only be accessed by those who unashamedly put their faith in Jesus Christ and submit to Him.
